On main watch as it was approaching R1=$383-384 area which I had as major daily resistance level (acted as support multiple times in the recent past) + 50SMA@daily=$384.5.

Given recent strength in QQQs and momo names, I was expecting a difficult fade... and sure it was. Premarket plan was to "short" the opening pop to R1=$383-384, risking a bit wide stop, then add thru loss of VWAP, expecting the move to opening print.

Traded my plan...almost. Opened strong and pushed right into 1st offer for filler size in-front of R1=$383-384, risking wide stop $386. Added Tier 0 once it got rejected at $385 and rolled over, added one momo tier thru VWAP loss, tightening stop for the whole size to HOD=$385.15, expecting sell-off back to where it came from.

Covered some on the way to target, BAD reload-small size after 2nd rejection at R1, and got a stop-out as it pushed thru HOD.

(-) No need for reloading size since it wasn't playing per plan...

Failed to hold above R1 and quickly rolled-over. Reloaded initial size vs new HOD=$386, expecting the move to $378 at a minimum.

Got the trade I was expecting and I covered bulk in the flush to $377.

Reshorted small the push back to VWAP for a quick scalp.

(-) Not sure it was worth it given current state of market - no sellers to be found, esp. in high-beta tech + momo names. Better to focus on long ideas.
