Trade: Started shorting on downward momentum and covered well the first two times. I began to short on an upward trend because I wasn’t concentrating on the trade, I was having a conversation with my wife which in turn caused me to lose focus and incur a loss of -$158. This was totally my fault. I should have gone flat and resumed after our conversation. I did eventually finish my conversation and got back to shorting and concentrating on reading the tape where I was able to make back about $130. Still down on P&L.
Error 1: You need to focus completely on what you are doing.
