PLAY: Breakdown/Downtrend, Dip buy
KEY LEVEL: 705,712-715,720
Did I follow my stop loss rules? Yes, technically, and ended up getting out of my put at the top.
Profit Taking Rules?: I decided to take profits at the 715 support, as I was red on the day, and wanted to take it safe. Not a dumb decision, but I do wish I had the profit cushion to risk holding that trade, as the stock DUMPED.
Entry(Notes): 1st trade was a ORB, towards the downside. Nothing but a scalp.
2nd Trade was too rushed. I had the right idea, I believe, to short a top, but jumped into before there was an actual red candle. I would have been green today if not for this loss.
3rd trade I wanted to get back in and put the stop at 720. You see, sometimes the stock dumps fast when there's momentum.
4th Trade was a three candle hold below 712.
5th Trade was a dip buy with confirmation(or so I thought) after support was higher.

Exit(Notes): TRADESTATION ORDERS WERE STILL A BIT WACKY TODAY. I CAN SEE ON THE RECORDING THAT MY TRADES WERE FILLED(it showed on the tape), just that my platform was lagging, and it didn't show as filled until a few seconds later. Will clear cache.
1st Exit -- Took the scalp and left as momentum was slowing.
2nd Exit -- Stop was at 720, and it blew past it.
3rd Exit -- Just wanted to be safe. Once I have a profit cushion I'll risk these types of plays by holding for a bigger move.
4th Exit -- Can't blame myself for exiting, there seems to have been buying pressure stepping in.
