Play: Opening Range Break/ Breakdowns
Did I follow my stop loss rule?: Yes, I was a bit more conservative today.
Notes: For the day trading account... what's the use. 3 small wins, 1 flat, and 1 loser enough to cause me to be flat for the day. Learning price action.
Also, I was glad I was able to catch that last dump, at least, with another account. I would have felt so bad if I didn't. I was expecting this move, which was why I was in a 700 Put I held from yesterday. I paid for that information, was the break above 700 this morning was enough to cause me to get out of that put for a $100 loss. But the fact that TSLA broke back down below 700 showed that the breakout above 700 this morning was nothing but a move to trap longs.... then, the real sell off began. Price action was slow but still downtrending all the way down to 693, which was a support. After it broke that level, the real selloff began. Beautiful move that I wish I caught more of, especially with my day trade account.
