Today was my biggest win! I'm so excited! Big smiles. :D
Today, I did everything right. I got out of bed at 0745 as planned so I could eat, get kids up, take dogs out, etc before trading. At 0830, I pulled up the gap scanner and reviewed the first three stocks. The first stock was out of my price range so I ended up choosing RHE despite it not having any news. At 0917, I bought 100 shares @$9.50 and waited. I considered going in at $9.00 but I was afraid that it would quickly gap and go red. I can't afford that kind of risk right now and chose to play it safe. At 0930, my 100 shares filled and it shot up to $10.20. My plan had been to sell 50 shares at $10.11 but it moved too fast. I ended up selling all 100 shares right before the 5-minute halt. With $70.00, I am done for the day. What an exciting day!
Lesson for the day: I finally learned what the phrases, "Wait for it to come to you!" and "Only take A quality set-ups" means. It works!!

Hey - late on the comment, but very cool! I know that a.m. routine, but I start at 5:30am Pacific and at the desk at just before 6. It takes what it takes. All the best on your trading.
