daily chart was rather nice, big move down, some bottoming tails and consolidation and today it gapped out of there. daily def wasn't the problem, nice daily.
60m was also pretty good, there was a nice green bar up with a decent sized topping tail and I entered on the second bar at a new HOD pullback. so it wasn't extended and quite bullish, there was some resistance/pivot at around 138-138.5.
15m you could see a strong move up, then a red topping tail at that pivot. next bar had a bottoming tail, then ripped back up. the next bar after that made a major new high and then ended as a big topping tail red bar. the next bar was the one I entered on. so far, not looking too hot and I rushed this one a bit. there was a pivot that I didn't look at hard enough, and now there are 2 huge topping tails at that level hmmm. I entered as the next green bar started at the bottom of that bar. not my hottest trade
5m showed an uptrend, and on this timeframe it looked like it had broken that are twice. however it got rejected again, there was still some sellers in that AREA. RESISTANCE IS AN AREA.anyways, after the first steep buy setup worked it made a new high, big topping tail and then came down with two red bars. I entered on a lower timeframe but the 5m didn't look good or bad, in an uptrend but I didn't like that it couldn't really make a significant new high in that pivot area without putting in a massive topping tail.
2m chart was a solid buy setup, big of a smaller topping tail on this one but HUGE vol which was pretty bearish as ending vol after a move up. it had a good retracement, was above VWAP and had a bottoming tail. it wasn't too steep. I didn't like that it wasn't at the top of the last move. so overall, no COC bar etc. came up to the pivot high/higher TF pivot and got smacked with a huge red bar. at the same time, the market got smacked and double topped and then tanked. so this was just a perfect storm: an average setup, market tanking and not looking for higher timeframe pivot
