Good to hear from a fellow trader. Glad you're still trading and figuring out what works for you.
I'm still using TOS. Had to modify how I use it and trade with caution the first minute after the opening bell, but I'm still happy with the fills, the platform, and the free commissions. Saved myself from some losses by having the TDameritrade website open to the positions page at the open incase TOS froze (or was slow in processing the order on TOS). It's happened a few times (not so much lately), but I figured out that the trade will register on the website even if it doesn't on TOS, and you can close the position quickly right from the website. Saved me a number of times.
Starting with 4k and getting to 40k... 1000% in 12 months. Would you like to trade my account for me? lol I ended 2020 up $31k or about 60% on the account. Up about $45k so far this year. Broke even January 2021, $11k Feb, $20k March, $7k April, and just under $7k for May so far.
I stayed away from the GameStop craziness for the most part. Thought the SEC could step in at any moment and halt trading on all those stocks or NYSE could could halt trading on GME. Traded a few of the sympathy plays like KOSS, EXPR, KODK, etc.
Best of luck with $25k for the month! Hopefully we'll see some momentum here soon. It's been a while since we had a 200-400% mover.

Don't know if you remember me. I haven't been using this app much but plan on updating and using it again. I started trading a "Real account'' back in Oct 2020. after years of you tube and practice on a simulator. started with 4K with a goal of 25k within 6 months.
Well it was a crazy journey up to 18,500 back down to 10k up to 16k down to 9k climbed back to 18,250 before I had enough of TOS and my trades getting horrible fills sometimes a few minutes before filling and costing me unknown damage.
I was able to open up a lightspeed account and now have my account a trade or two away from 40k Lightspeed made a complete difference for me night and day. executions in a split second and access to all kids of shorts.
I'm up 14K on the month so far and we still have 17 trading days left. Personally I'm shooting for a 25k month.
