+2R daily chart had good void, gapping down after SOOO many red bars so this was really extended. on jared's gap list and in confluence with the market being extended. this then hit and moved back up, broke yesterday's close and I entered a bit higher. so nice daily, not perfect but more than good enough for a trade
60m nice first green bar up was a full close really bullish green bar, really nice. I entered on the next bar that just cleared the consolidation from yesterday, so this really had room to FLYYY. quite nice, 60m was good
15m had two big green bars up to resistance, a nice resting pullback and then a nice big green bar up into open void with a little topping tail, not big enough to worry me though. I then entered on the next bar which was right under HOD and with a bottoming tail. so 15m was a pretttttyyy nice chart, very bullish and not too extended. only up 3 bars with some rest
5m was the entry chart, pretty nice buy setup, higher timeframes show that this wasn't extended. this wasn't my fav setup for a number of reasons, especially that there were those two rather big topping tails at the top of the move, and at a pivot from yesterday. obviously this wasn't some super strong resistance but it was big enough that I should think about it. it was near the top of last move and at the support, had a nice retracement level good angle of retracement above VWAP nice bottoming tail doji bar narrow bar. overall nice trade,in sync with a uptrending market only problem was that resistance. now this is the beauty, I was able to take this trade using my new backtested management where I would protect myself by selling some at that problematic resistance. so I did this, locked in some profits and made my max risk only -0.33R. so knowing this I was much more comfortable taking this trade and moved my target up and got my full 2R. very nice trade that was even better with this management
