Today the market gapped down. Everything was red and only ETFs for volatility indexes were on the scanner.** UVXY** looked like a could put in a big move for the day so i marked out some levels for it.
These notes were delayed since i couldnt get the charts to work right- so details are rusty
i cant remember the premarket levels right before the open but i waited a few candles and i bought in anticipation as it was forming an ORB. It broke out and i sold half into the push of the that first candle. Moved my stop up a bit then was looking to see if it would tap into the 50sma which was my final target, i wasnt going to mess about. just wanted to lock it in. 2nd candle start to follow through so i moved my stop to just above my entry. i sold the rest near the 50sma zone. I keep saying that because if i wait for the exact level i want i find im often disappointed. It will miss it by a few pennies or it will hit so fast i dont get the sell then pull back etc. So im selling just before what i think might be obvious levels
