I took this trade anticipating a day-long consolidation break. The stock was making higher lows in its consolidation while holding the 20 ema on 5-min time-frame. So I bought near the 20 ema with a stop at the previous low of the consolidation pattern. Planned to sell half of my position at the $57 resistance. I sold 2/3 instead. I left the last 1/3 in anticipation of a HOD break. However, the stock seemed to have lost its gas and bid emptied so I sold the last 1/3. I re-entered with a small 1/3 position size once I noticed that the stock was holding the 9 ema toward the $57 breakout level. It began grinding sideways at the $57 level and then flushed, breaking all the ema's and stopping me out.
