AAPL had a strong open, breaking through a small 30m supply zone. I wanted to see how it reacted to a 1 Hour Supply Zone at 125.84.
At 12:31 price broke into that zone then consolidated inside it for 10 minutes. This was a sign that buyers had lost strength but I wanted to see sellers show strength before I entered.
At 12:43, when price moved down out of the zone on increasing volume, I got short with a 3:1 RR. Good entry waiting for confirmation but not chasing. My stop was almost triggered at 12:50 but I stayed in for the next leg down.
Although my TP level was still 0.15 away at 12:56, I needed to step away from my computer for lunch so I exited the position for a profit.
Lesson Learned: Be decisive with your entries if you made a plan beforehand. You don't need to think if you have a system and you naturally know when to act on that system.
