This was try#2. Got in on the 2' but the 5' was about to trigger as well. Great entry. I actually added some more on a little base breakdown b/c I wanted to increase my share size and lower my stop, since the entry had a little bigger stop to begin with. Turned out the add did not matter. Took the exit off 5' pivot break and actually got a little slippage in my favor. I have been playing with giving a little margin on the pivot maybe .03, would have yielded about another 1/2R on this play since the .20 would not have taken me out. Covered the previous try and then a little less than 1R between the 2 trades.

Check out my trades in this today. Props to you for actually making money. If this stock was a person I would have shot it in the face with a sawed off shotgun today!

ckz8780, not offense, but why would tdktown want to look at your trades? Lol - It's the other way around buddy. Watch his trades and try to see what you're doing Wrong or take a class on how to actually trade these.

tdktown nice climactic trade - I did the initial 2min gap shorts on both GTAT & PAYX myself.

I was telling him to look for entertainment purposes and giving him props for doing a good job where I bombed it. He played it correctly. I played it like a fool and thought he might enjoy the laugh.

dude ckz8780, no one wants to laugh at you this stuff is the hardest easy money. Heck as we watch him, we are bound to learn more.

i wasn't laughing. it is hard enough in the pit to make this work. hopefully we can pick up ques and things that we can all learn from and make ourselves better more consistent traders.

I don't know your plan but just from the one trade it looks like even getting in later than me if you had a little wider stop it would have kept you in the trade (the topping tail above the base) and it would have had time to work a little for you.
