I would love if someone could explain this one to me cause it doesnt really make sense to me but maybe im just a noob. NYX was being bought out by ICE for 33.12 a share. The stock made a very nice base in the 31.50 area with the low of the base being 31.40. I figured I would get long with a stop under that base and ride the stock up and even better try and get taken at the buyout of 33.12. I understand that buyouts usually dont move much during a buyout but this was trade over a dollar under the buyout price. Maybe just to stay away from these buyouts all together.
