The setup: pullback
The result: The move happened, but I was too tight with the stop and got stopped out.
What can I do about that?: I'm not sure, because I like using hard stops and I know they save me sometimes. If my stop were actually wide enough to absorb that spike that stopped me out, my R/R would be much lower and it wouldn't look like a good trade to take. There's no perfect solution, but to be patient and wait for the rounding action adn EMAs to be tight on the price. About 4 candles later looks like a much better entry which would maintain good R/R and save my butt. I would be buying a bit higher, that's true, but the risk would be more controlled and the trade would (I believe, anyway) have higher probability.
