Bought breakout of a VCP pattern (

). Very sloppy entry. alert was ~$373 and entered around $377 (lol, terrible). Prior 10 minute bar should have been bought, which corresponds to the initial volume surge. VWAP for the day was also around $374, which would have also been used as a trigger.
Sold near lows of the day, however price never broke daily VWAP. Terrible sell in hindsight but didn't want to hold a losing position into the weekend and was tired of looking at it on the screen (my buy point was irritating me from the moment it was put on). Was basically a lose from the moment I bought it.
Summary: Bought the top and sold the bottom for the day. Will look to reenter next week.
