Managed Wrong
Reason for entry: Once we started breaking above the range, I pulled Bear Fib Retracement on the hourly (1st pic). The 2 areas of interest when comparing historical price action to the Fibs was the .5 and the .618.
The range we were finally breaking out of had a perfect measured move leading to the .618 fib.
What could have been done better: I scalped 1 contract off too early (after 1.25 points) because there was a major swing low back on the chart and I thought I should at least capture a small scalp because my position was too large to begin with considering my entry.
What was done well: Identifying the confluence pointing to the target profit.
What was missed: Nothing that I can see at this time.
Emotions: Confident this was going higher. A little fearful after I entered when I first saw that huge prior swing low as potential resistance (which is why I took that 1 lot off early)
How could I have responsibly made more money: My first 2 take profit areas could have had better placement that would have likely yielded more return.
