ARPO Trade on Jul 8, 2021 09:40 from adh1522: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

Pullback buy here. Had a large string of wide range red bars in pre market that moved into the open.

First entry was good. got the green engulfing bar as signal and bought on next bar when it traded above the engulfing bar.

Sold the first 30 at the top of the first bounce for a 40cent gain. I can't remember what my stop loss was, but I am pretty sure this was 2R. Checked and did get 2R here. I would say 8 or 9 out of 10 on the first lot. I should have had my stop written down, and knew exactly what 2R would have been.

2nd Entry was very bad. Cost me some of my profit here. My thought process was to add to my position in strength. Should have waited for some sort of pull back. Bought at the top and was stopped out quickly as it pulled back.

3rd entry was good/okay. Probably should have waited for one more candle to confirm the pullback was most likely over. It had a tiny bounce, and then pulled back again. I added some size here as it was a double bottom on that support. I think I had a mental stop loss on this one that was for 10 cents(did not write down thought process here). Got my 20 cents and took profit. Tried to add again too early here with a tight stop and gave some profit back.

For the double bottom at support adds, I should have stuck to my original stop loss and let them run. I was not shown a reason to sell. Could have got this one to at least 3 before taking profit.

Decent trade overall. Stuck to my plan of buying pullbacks. Working on adding to position, didnt go well, but learning from my mistakes. Good with original entry and the adds at the double bottom

Only other add could have been at around 12:00. It was a break of the consolidation.
