The setup: flag

Result: I got stopped out on the one big down day on a spike. I broke through my stop and I lost more than I bargained for on the stop. I likely could have exited for a loss about $1/share higher if that didn't happen. That's what stops are for though.

The lesson: The flag setup wasn't that great because it was getting looser as the days went on instead of tighter, therefore lowering the probability of a breakout.
