The setup: Short the bounce on the daily chart

Entry: stock is in a downtrend and I shorted a bounce. So far so good.

The result: The move went in my favour the following day.

8.18: Took half profits to lock in gains from the big gap down after concluding that there wasn't much more to be made that day, but still wanting to keep half of the position for a possible extended downtrend.

8.19: Got stopped out of the rest of it at the open. Locked in some gains, albeit less than there was the day before. Experience will help me get better at my exits.
