Description

- What was the result of the trade?

Got out b/e. Gave the trade plenty of opportunity to work out but it would just not break down even though the market was pulling in and weak. The relative strength was an indication that I was not in the right place. After a lot of patience I decided to cut the trade and even though I did not follow the plan it was the right decision to get out of the way.

Feelings

- What were your feelings during the trade?

FRUSTRATED. I was upset that everything was in order for the stock to sell(market selling off and PLUG was below resistance) but it just would not go

Evaluation

- What was good or bad about the trade?

Good setup and great entry without hesitation but just terrible price action and no follow through. Volume profile was good on the entry but got screwed up on the next candle

Analysis

- Does the trade make sense to you now that it is over?

Yes the trade makes perfect sense because it was a solid setup that just did not work out but I would take the trade again

Conclusion

- What is your final judgement of the trade?

Overall it was a decent trade. I did not let the plan work but with my experience it was clear that the stock was showing relative strength at the time and kept holding up. I am ok with the result of the trade because I gave it plenty of chances to work and stuck it out as long as I could but it was obvious that it didn't want to go.

Action plan

- How are you going to avoid the same mistakes?

I really don't see any mistakes in the trade. I gave it plenty of opportunity to work and it didn't want to go.

- How are you going to make sure you get the same results the next time if it was a good trade?

Patient execution!!
