The setup: Buy the gap down on the idea that the SPY would retrace from its gap down to a higher point in its current range.
The result: I got the move. I could have sold it all at once and treated this as a scalp, but I was looking for a trend to form and to be in on the trend early. I'm therefore glad I got out where I did.
