Stock halted up purely on momentum to the long side, Weak catalyst and unjustified price action.... No real investor interest which meant the price was driven purely by long chasers and momentum traders. Starter position after the second halt, added on the third. I missed the opportunity to add at $25.50 (half dollar resistance) the stock only hit $25.48 so no fill. Huge halt down in which I held my short position, covered on the resumption as the stock began to bounce from other shorts covering and longs re-entering the stock. Took second trade to the short side once I felt shorts had covered and trapped longs from the major halt down started to sell (read the tape). My last add was into the fifth halt (second halt down), the stock resumed without creating a significant gap down so I covered the whole thing for a small win. My price target for the second trade was the gap fill between the $13.50 and $11.28 area, which it later filled, but I didn't want to over stay my welcome.
