Random catalyst, phase 2 news. This is the very definition of my C game ; full of emotions, not enough thoughts behind the trade/ the risk / the context, just full retard mode. the losses that I took in ATER and CEI led to some frustration build up, not that I wasn't noticing it but I didn't realize that I was getting super impulsive with my decision making. I spot this name, checked the news, didn't really check price action, just saw that the 7.3 level was a potential inflection point and that was enough for me to get involve... Wide spread, trading quite fast, they just soaked all the offers down at 7.3 and I got squeeze as a result.
Bad losses, part of the game, live and learn. the focus should not be on PNL in the following days but just on taking quality executions, getting back to that clear state of mind. I will try my best to avoid mean reversion/ fighting the trend on strong names and instead just trade back side setups below vwap.
