Intraday Fundamentals

Second day play. This was not on the watchlist, but when it was called out in the warrior chatroom, and I saw it had broken the previous day close and vwap (forming strong support), I became interested.

Technical Setup

Formed a cup-n-handle formation with the vwap and previous day close as support. Dips to vwap were being bought up, and consolidation was tight (5.37-5.50) making risk manageable. My first attempt failed (stop was too tight), when I noticed the dips were being bought I took another stab with a slightly larger stop (1c below the low of the range).When this hit the 9ema it took off (it consolidated sideways up till it touched the 9). There was a nice window from 5.50 to 5.94 (excluding a large wick, including the wick it went up to 6.50s). I've been unsure if I should include wicks in my technical analysis (some educators and professionals include them, some dont, need to make up my mind if I will include them or not). I set my profit target for the high of this window (~6). First target was S1 at 5.80.

The Tape

This is my ideal tape/stock selection. Where the float and price support breaking the tape into three sections (bucketed by quantities: <1k, 1k-10k, and <10k). When I saw prints come in on the 10k bucket like this in the photo below, it's time to buy (this may also act as confirmation if I'm already in).

Intuition

Due to the large move the prior session, I felt strongly that there would be another large move today. The well defined candle formation (cup-n-handle) and large window added weight to this thesis. I was uncertain how things would unfold at $6.00 level. I should have kept on a small position.
