WOW! This is about as ugly of a chase that I have ever seen in my own trading. I know this ticker was signalled in the server and when I saw it I just FOMOed my way in and and sold for a loss that was not within my risk rules. This trade will be forever burned into my memory as what a chase can look like. I know better than to make this trade and it just signals that I need a better strategy to prevent chasing trades in the future.The really profitable trade in this case would have either been the opening drive or using puts when the stock folded through the VWAP, retested, and fell back apart. Having a bias creamed me on this ticker.

Playbook Trade:

The playbook trade would be to add a starter position of puts as PTON approached the 104 resistance level from previous day. Then add to the starter position as the price folded through the VWAP. Secure profits on the weakness. A starter reentry would be perfect as the price approached the VWAP for a retest. This would have been extremely profitable.
