I had orders at $2.40s + but only some got filled. I was hoping for a pop off the open but never happened high enough. The first candle was a trap as you can see they dropped it down near $2.15 before squeezing shorts over $2.40.

My general rule is to wait for "pops" where they squeeze out shorts, preferably above vwap and the 13ema, and then enter/add. My mistake here was adding too much too soon. My thought process between 9:52am-10:00am was anticipating a potential fail off vwap but it ended up holding that $2.15 area. My last add was at that $2.28 resistance area which is where I should've had more size to add.

I was ready to stop out if I went to $2.40 but the tape was looking heavy and then it failed (the move I was looking for). I then began covering at various support levels and held a good portion for that fail below $2.00. Again watching the tape around that level, there was heavy selling and the tape was flying before it cracked.
