Trying to look for the same theme (strong bounce) entered long one tier against 113.

Name was choppy and was not behaving in a similar fashion to other names so this was a different play. When I am looking at executing a specific play (like a reversal oversold bounce play) I want to be focused on that play not trying to catch different plays.

Action failed and took position off at 113 stop (had moved it up from 112.75 on pop higher.

With relative weakness here, now beginning to look for a possible short if action drops 112.5 (prior key support and consolidates below that level.

Mid-Day and Afternoon Downtrend following failed attempt higher- AAPL
Relative weakness evident in this name as it was unable to pop and hold higher with many other names in the morning.
When the action failed, I began to focus in on the key level of 112.5 which had been multiple day support in the name.
Break below that level allowed me to control my risk well against a key level and gave me confirmation of sellers stepping in.
This break down below the key level also really was where the action started to break lower on multiple time frames.
What are the variables - (Checks) in my favor for this set up (continuation play)
Breaking lower out of consolidation on multiple time frames
Relative weakness early in the session as this name failed to break higher out of two day consolidation
Break below key support level and brief consolidation there allowing me to control risk with price action confirming sellers are in control.
Consistent breaks below key support and holds below allowing me to stay with/look for more in the move.
My thought process-

when this name could not break higher I was a little surprised but when the action breaks and holds below key support I was able to enter short looking for a continued weakness play.
I want to improve my entries on these continuation plays especially on the afternoon section so lets put in the extra work to get myself in the right mindset in order to execute that consistently.
What happened and how I responded -
Took the initial short pretty well and traded it to plan nicely.
Second play I did not execute as well as I was looking for a continuation move that held below the lows instead of one that traded up into R and failed to clear (best r/r when looking for a name that may close at the lows)
Lots of room to improve but this is the sort of set up I can really push and extend in when I have it.
