Big Picture:
What does the related and broader market look like?
It's starting to look really toppy and we are sitting right under ATH. Very interesting day to be looking at longs but the market looked primed for a dip buy at the open.

What were important levels intraday in the SPY/QQQ?
454.54 was previous ATH
452.74 was important from it being two swing highs from the week.
451 is where spy held.

What is /ZB doing? Chart below:
Bonds were chopping at open but ran to the bull side and got slammed down from the previous demand zone on the open. Looks like shorts are good for monday.

Where there any important events on the macro level?
Earning season nest week with big tech names.

What levels were significant in the trade?
227 was my load zone but i knew the 200EMA could be support.
226.35 was a key level.
227.50 was previous ATH

Did you trade based off a candlestick pattern?
Hammer candles

What levels/TA did you used to plan your entry? Why?
I used a load zone at 227 but I ended up using the 226 level to get my entry.

What was price action telling you?
Buyers were still buying this over ATH

How and where did TA give you the biggest edge?
It gave me a zone to look to buy the volatility off the open with previous ATH as support.

Where did your TA fail you?
The levels did not perfectly held and I had to wait for buyers to step in.

What did you see on the tape to initiate your entry?
I saw that buyers were pushing back above ATH and aggressively.

What did you see on the tape to take profits early if you did?
There was hesitation at the 230 level and I want to be safe so I unloaded size.

What made you add size?
I did not scale in.

Why did you sell?
Trailstop 25%

What intuitive lessons can you take from this trade?
Over ATH it can present nice opportunity to buy dips if buyers step in on the tape.

How did this trade help you grow?
This trade just keeps making me more comfortable with opening drive dip buys.

How are you going to take what you learned and apply it tomorrow?
I am going to learn how to short this type of trade back down if the market pulls back like it did.

How can you get better entries and exits?
Continue to get better at reading the tape.

Where can you be bigger in this trade next time?
I could be bigger by buying a vwap bounce if one came up.
