Macro situation: SPY looked to open stable. I've also seen from experience that these day trading enthusiasm stocks develop a market of their own if the interest is strong enough.
I checked the social feed on trade ideas. I saw WTW was off the chart in interest and it moved up 100% in premarket on news that Oprah was an investor (10%) and joining the board.
I knew that most day traders would understand and get very excited about this popular stock. I watched it in the first 30 minutes, saw that it was forming the ascending bull flag pattern that a lot of heavily day traded stocks form.
I then entered on a pullback to the EMAs.
What was different about this trade is that as I made money, I added shares on each flag and moved the stop up. I've seen this ascending bull flag pattern before.
I also anticipated the pole of a flag and sold half into one of the higher poles.
However, I was a little impatient and took the rest off in between one of the flags. The reason is that it had moved below the EMAs and I was concerned that it would roll over.
