Stock gapped up because of a rumor that another company was planning to acquire it.

I entered a little late actually. I had thought before that it may break out in the afternoon, but I didn't enter soon enough. My stop was at $34.45 and it wasn't reached so I wouldn't have been stopped out.
On my next DMND trade I got an entry higher, but I had a better R/R, because my stop was closer. 2R target was $35.05 on this. On my next trade the 2R target was $34.96.
