ANFI Trade on Nov 11, 2015 11:22 from jmos_BOWS: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

Play: Bull Flag

This trade is not my best, tried scaling in, have a lot of work to do clearly but I like the train of thought on it. Got in when it held 7.5 and started going. A bit of FOMO but went in small so was able to give it room. I added on a small pb to get a better avg. I took some off when it was stalling a bit but when it held and broke out, i got in full size for the break of 8. There was no follow through but it made a higher low so I kept holding. This is the most disciplined i've been as i hadn't been proven wrong yet so i didn't want to take the loss even though i had my biggest size. It kept grinding but had horrible avg. Thought of adding lower to bring down my avg but didn't. When it was stalling near my entry level, i got out some to decrease risk and when it was struggling, i got out flat.
Mixed feeling about this trade. Happy i was able to hold size and risk because the chart was telling me to hold and was discipline to hold but pissed i sold when it looked good to break out. At that point, i was trading my PnL and happy to be flat instead of trading the chart which i had been doing the whole time. Missed on the break out.

Reasons to sell: decrease risk, happy to be flat, bad reason!

DECENT TRADE.

I LIKED THE ENTRY ON THE SECOND FLAG...STOCK DID NOT EXPLODE LIKE YOU WOULD HAVE LIKED, BUT A NICE TRADE.

thanks @acelaw2000_BOWS! definitely could have been better traded had i held for the break out lol Could have also decreased some size when it didnt go which would have caused me a small loss but then add it again on confirmation on the break of 8. Maybe i would have been less emotional.
