News broke around 6 am, a little volume started to come in and got the stock over 2 dollars.
Some resistance on the daily just under 3 @ 2.90.
Decided to try and take a scalp from a small 5 minute flag pattern for the break of 2.50 up to 2.90.
DID NOT USE LARGE SIZE BECAUSE MARKETS HAVE BEEN SO CHOPPY, SCALED INTO VERY SMALL SIZE ONLY 1000 SHARES.
Scaled in all the way up, volume was pouring in and thought it may have the potential to break 3.
Sold ½ at 2.80, added back at 2.90 for break of 3, took a little chop, lightened up ½ @ 2.80.
Added back in on flag break of 2.9 for move over 3
Tested 2.80 again quickly but volume was expanding and my price average was still about 2.80, only had small size at this point so I held for the break of 3
Volume continued expanding for break of 3
Sold ½ @ 3.10
Sold ½ @ 3.30
Held onto 100 shares with a price average of 2.80 just in case this turned into a runner. I knew it was unlikely but sometimes things like this can run and if it got over 5, then the next resistance was at 7.50 on the daily
@ 7:50ET shares pulled back to test $3 for about 10 minutes before breaking down vwap and 3 dollar level.
Flat @2.90 above AVG price
was hoping to get a little more out of this. should have gotten bigger faster on initial entry and just taken the trade
