I violated my rule of setting my stop on the remaining shares to break even. In the past, I have messed up my average and ended up being stopped out prematurely. Fearing this might be the case, I decided to move my stop higher. In the end, I was stopped out. This is just another lesson that reinforces why I have that rule in place. I could have made a few bucks on this trade but ended up taking a hefty loss instead.
