Been on a pretty nasty downtrend. From 9.00s to mid 6.00s in several days.. 50% haircut. Weak close yesterday, plus gap down this morning and it was holding the 6.40s and SPY was setting in a lower high and was beginning to trend down. So I took on half size. Was eyeing for a spot to add on the other half, but I just kept missing my opp and did not pull the trigger.. went to HOD of 6.70 If I was full size already, I would have probably closed out the trade for a nice 30 cent gain on full size. Since I was NOT full size, I was gonna let it ride a bit more and see if it can go higher.

Had a pretty strong pull back, but it seemed to have caught itself and wanted to curl back up again, so I added the other half at this point. Then it topped out at 6.65 and bye bye she went. Wanted to get out before the interest rate announcement since people were saying it was gonna get crazy. Started to tank 10 minutes before the announcement. Set my stop loss at 6.33 just incase it had a crazy deep pull. Then decided that I wanted to change it to just under 6.29 which was the current LOD at the open. My stop loss triggered as I was in the middle of clicking to cancel it. Then two minutes later the announcement came out and it popped straight up over 6.60s I was pretty pissed, but was not sure if my clicking would have been fast enough to even get out around 6.50s-6.60

It just completely tanked after that. Overall, the loss is within my risk parameters, but I don't want these losers to add up since my winners are only 1.5-2 times the size.
