Open Range Trade
Strategy: Open Range Trade off 1 minute high and low.
Expectation: A small consolidation around the high 20s then a strong push up towards the high of day at 101.90
This execution was not perfect. The war in Ukraine had pushed oil over $100 and the pre-market had a ton of overnight buyers. The market was holding the 101 well after the open and I saw opportunity within the opening range established earlier in the day. I got in with about 16 cents of risk and got out at almost 4 times that. I'm very proud of this trade.
