Only had roughly an hour to trade today during my lunch break, so volatility had seemed to dissipate by afternoon, making it hard to find some big gains. I only made one trade with the limited time I had. Looked for an intraday flag to trade on a momentum stock that had been running the past couple of days. Entry and exits were decent but not great. I left 100 shares with a hard stop and target placed for a big run with the remaining 100 shares. Had to get back to work before either were hit. Traded small volume, on a low price stock, still profited $93.13 on the day with 100 shares still in play. This would be a stock I would look to short tomorrow now that it has had 3+ days green with a big run up.
