Stop - Hold Below $828

Thesis: During the premarket I observed 828 price area as a potential area of opportunity. If TSLA held above 828 then I would look to enter long. I identified the 850 and 860 Call contracts for my trade. If TSLA broke and held above I would buy 3 call contracts sell 1 on the first pop and hold the other for the next move sell the other at the next pop and then hold the last until my reason to exit.

TRADE - TSLA opened with quick pops and then down. TSLA dropped to 825, but quickly recovered. With how quickly it recovered from the drop and reclaimed 828 and held above I decided to enter with 3 860 call contacts. I was looking for a quick move. I quickly sold 1 of my contracts on the first push. Shortly after the DAS Traders Options quotes went out and I was unable to see lv2 and the current option price. I quickly set a stop to breakeven and I hoped the stop order actually went through. Just in case I pulled up IBK App and was ready to sell on it just in case. Additionally I have the DAS Trader risk control set to sell me out if I hit -205 on the day. I felt comfortable that I had enough in place to prevent me from taking any major loss. I closed DAS Trader and restarted it, and hoped that would fix it, but it didn't. I could see TSLA was ripping and I figured I was in the money a good amount which I confirmed on IBK App. But I knew I wasn't in control and not getting the information I needed to hold so I market sold and flattened my position.

Thoughts: This was a little aggressive of an entry for me, but I had a plan so I was prepared for this trade. I am frustrated that DAS Trader had this issue, but issues happen its why I have all the risk controls I have in place to prevent major loss. I am happy with how the trade turned out despite the issues.
