Had a profitable day after failing on my opening trade today. Wasn't able to trade the open so I finally got in during middle of day. Stocks in which I had my eye on were beginning to change trend, so burned me with my initial trade. After recognizing the trend reversal however, I was able to win back my losses and more.
Shares traded: 5,000 (NFLX long only)
Closed P&L: $1,544.50 (NFLX long only)
After losing on my initial trade (short), I recognized the trend reversal as the stock did not flush after tapping low of day twice. Waited for confirmation on the first flag after the initial trend change, got in to the long side, and scaled out taking profits up the spike. Recognized a second flag, and got back into the trade to the long side, and scaled out once again, taking profits. This trade won me back my initial losses for the day, plus sent me green on the day. Was a solid trade after a bad one.
