Hoping for a second day bounce on this inverse energy ETF. Longed as it broke into the VWAP and got a quick scalp. As I saw the trend begin to weaken I scaled out my second half so I was all cash.

I see what you were trying to do. Only reason I didn't like it for a short was the volume pattern on the daily. As for the intra day, I'm not sure .. is that an ORB (anticipated) to the long side on a stock that gaps down? I like Kunal's advice of "flip it", but before you do that you have to have a reason, or setup, to do that. Not just cause it went against you. In this case, it turned out to be a beautiful quick pullback to the 9ema. Shoulda flipped it. ;)
Thanks guys your advice definitely helps. Haven't been in BC since December because of finals, forgot a few things since then.. Good refresher between the simulator and current BC that just started. Gotta look to short that first pop on down gappers!
