EVERYBODY makes "bone headed trades" from time to time. If we are like our teachers, we will continue to make them for years. BUT! The make very few. So, what were you thinking? Did you see a particular setup at the time? What rule/process/whatever can you put in place to prevent from doing it again?
You could have made this worse by not admitting to yourself that it was a poor setup and holding onto it in hopes of it turning around. Heck, many people actually add to their losers as it goes against them. So.. good job getting out quickly!
