TLRY Trade on Mar 25, 2022 09:43 from rectanglealchemists: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

I started trading very poorly now that I was down on my P&L several minutes after the open.

The idea here is, that my entry through the open will be okay if the news pulls this back through HOD. That didn't happen. However, I could have still had a small profit or a smaller loss if I would have placed my stop a little further away. In a situation where that rally-selloff happens at the open, the rip back up will be a little more rocky. I should have placed my stop under the wick of the 1 minute candle I entered at, to position myself for this micro gyration, or anticipated it!

I entered through the price break at the open. Although this isn't as impactful when you have that selloff that already occurred at the open from the initial rip. For that reason, I am not going to label this as an opening price break because it doesn't really match the appearance of what I am looking for when I get into one of those trades.

Ideally there is an initial selloff rather than a rally, that then sells off. If it initially sells off and then comes through the open, then I call it an opening price break.
