Sector play, I got too bias when I saw GME/ AMC open weak so I slammed HYMC when we were failing into 2.5. While looking back at the trade, I should have been faster to cut the trade once I saw that we were not able to drop below 2.45 even after GME flushed below 170, that was a big red flag. HYMC was showing a lot of relative strength and I failed to recognize that. The worst part of this trade is the second attempt at 2.52, this is a noob mistake, clear short trap followed by a tight consolidation, I had FOMO and thought that maybe I took the trade off too early and bam... Right in my face.
Clearly my worst performance ever this week, I'm trading too much size, I'm not able to execute and I'm not able to follow simple lessons/adapt to new rules. Need to size back down and maybe even avoid trading for tomorrow, regroup and focus on what's been making me money in the past few weeks.
