1st trade

My plan for XOM was an ideal push to 75 or 75.5 o/u for a fade back, with 74 target, eventually to 70.

XOM had missed earnings pretty badly due to the slump in oil prices.

I scaled into the trade on the short side risking 75 just to get a feel for how it acted. I held through the spike into 75.5 area and I was too slow to short into it and it quickly faded. I wanted to short on another pop back into 75.5 but the way it was grinding down below 75, I did not think it would pop back into 75.5 area so I took a small profit and pretty much got flat.

I did not want to watch the grinding action as I had other trade I was more focused on.
