Missed the opening for a short. Entered for a long after the pullback and over the avgs, but did not pan out and was stopped out. Attempted a second time with a mental stop, but stopped again for a loss. Should have stayed out completely, as the momos were bit choppy with the market green.

To me, the thing to focus on this trade isn't about the market being choppy, rather the long and short-term setups you were playing. In my trading, I most often lose when my reason for entering a stock is a narrative rather than a succinct name of a setup on both the daily and intraday charts. Maybe your results are different, but I shared just in case it's relevant for you too.
