I shorted $MON @ 87.87 for the orb. I began to scale out selling a quarter of the position @ 87.47. It had a nice, orderly pullback and I re-shorted @87.56 adding to my current position. It had a great trendline break @87.50 and I covered 150 shares @87.31 and the remaining 300 @87.25. I'm happy with the pattern recognition of the orb and the trendline break but I covered my shares waaaayyy to early this thing had a sweet flush that I missed because of poor trade management. I've been much better about scaling out properly and holding lotto shares to maximize my gains, but this time I didn't stick to those rules and it cost me big-time! Definitely learned a good lesson on this one to stick to the rules of trade management and scaling out!
