A big missed opportunity. My trade idea was for this to pullback for some profit taking today and although I was right in my trade idea (it dropped to low 8s at EOD), my timing was off.
This was a missed opportunity for sure. The daily chart setup was there but because it didn't break down on my timeframe I lost interest. When I put stocks on watch, they should be watched all day.
For most of the day, it traded in a channel of 9.25 - 9.75. The afternoon attempt to break high of day failed at 9.72 or so. This should be a red flag that a breakdown is now more likely.
I suspect that this will have a trend continuation on Monday for more profit taking. Nice research for eventual swing trades
