Entry: entered right at the open. I had levels and was counting on there being some early profit-taking after the huge gap on news.
Result: The dip didn't happen and I regret this trade now. It was announced that they would be bought out for 32.50/share and we were underneath that. Sketchy territory. Not the type of trade I want to be in.
Lesson: I had discounted going long after the pre-market action which appeared bearish. I don't see any great setup here although it was a significant more up after the open. The tweezer wicks on the 5m after the open kept me in short longer than I wanted to be.
