I suck at breakouts! I had the same problem when I was in a winning short. That is, not giving them any room to breathe. I tighten my stops too early taking me out of the trade on the pullbacks. I will apply the same rule to breakouts as I do with my shorts. Lock in partial then move the stop to break even only when +.50c - 1.00+ on the trade.
