Letting the high break is fine with small size but want to see the new high fail right away, if it doesnt exit is immediate must. Instead compounded error by adding. Luckily pulled the plug quick enough to avoid disaster and allow for a re-trade but the loss did enough mental damage that my execution on re-trade suffered.
Re-trade entries were good including into the climax bar/candle. But after consolidating tightly on $115 for 50mins I have to know that a new high or stop run is coming and therefore should have time-stopped 300 or 400 out of 500, which would then allow me to be aggressive and play offense if its a stop run scenario where new high gets stuffed hard, which is exactly what happened. I coulda added back more size with full stop at high and still kept my short stop below that $114.65 support level that developed.
