Urgh, I broke my plan again and had FOMO and made some trades which were not good.
Today was a bearish retest play, and usually I like to see the stock drive up straight away for the retest and then I short into key level , however we had a strong bearish candle.
I have seen this before and sometimes the bearish candle will retrace about 50% and then roll over like crazy. I did not want to miss out on a potential good amount of profits so I trade it and then got stopped out as it broke high of day.
I then went long on the retest of high of day because I feel like I have seen that pattern of the morning reclaim. I also stopped out on this trade. Luckily I had small size because I was just testing it out, but still I broke my rules.
If I want to trade these, I need to get data on them so I am confident and know wht I am doing.
